FASHION: A Vintage Kinda Mood [Memorial Day 2016]

Here in the USA BBQs are heating up and the UN-official start to summer and all things breezy and fun!
So, naturally, feeling out what my next backyard pool party with a gazillion people on Sunday wardrobe would look like a couple of weeks ago, I instantly felt very..... vintage.
I shopped for and scooped up a big, white floppy sun hat (skincare 101, girls and gents) and scouted a red one-piece bathing suit with white polka dots. Done. Pull in a newly ordered long maxi dress from Amazon, a few reminders on how those vintage glam girls did their cat eye liners, slip on 3-inch platform red sandals, SPF 30 spray, a touch of fragrance and well, you have a red-lipped bombshell waiting to mingle.

And, guys, show your patriotic spirit with a royal blue Polo, red shorts, and white casual shoes for an easy-to-create and super-comfortable holiday uniform for Monday.

While our day off from work in America and real life on Monday isn't about feeling that one-too-many red-white-blue drinks the day or night before, lest not forget the real star of the weekend...our uniformed women and men who are remembered today, tomorrow, and forever.
It's the unofficial start of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere so let's get our Spring Cleaning done and make room for lighter and fun fashion ahead!
